Bingo Transport started six years ago, and not because anyone had a grand business plan. It started because our friends kept complaining.

Every few months, another story. A cousin's shipment arrived in Accra three months late. A mother's dining set turned up in Kumasi in pieces. A box of clothes — opened, rummaged through, half the contents missing. The companies shipping between Switzerland and Ghana were cheap, but what actually arrived on the other end often wasn't worth what had been paid to send it.

We thought we could do better. Not cheaper, necessarily — but honest, careful, and on time. A service that treated every piece of cargo like it belonged to a friend, because at the start, most of it did.

So we started. One container, one route, a small circle of people who trusted us with their things. Word spread the way word spreads in the diaspora — quietly, person to person. Six years on, we're a registered GmbH in Bern with a trusted delivery team in Ghana and a rhythm of roughly one container a month to Accra and Kumasi, with Takoradi joining our route soon.

We've stayed small on purpose. Every pickup is handled by someone who actually cares whether your grandmother's armchair arrives in one piece. Every delivery is confirmed against a code only you and your family know. Every container goes out with a video inventory — so if anything's ever disputed, the answer is on the record.

That's the whole business. No marketing spin, no fine print. Just the service we wished had existed when our friends needed it.
